Title: Equipments Management plug-in

You can post an "equipment entry" into your TeamPage with this plug-in.

Note: Just release a new plug-in by the name of Forum6608: Inventory Management plug-in. This was designed to, for example, manage numbers of items in warehouse, storage, office etc and make it easy to prevent them from being insufficient.

Click the link below to download a com.traction.equipments-version.zip file.

Notice: The name of this plugin file was changed from com.traction.form.equipments (plural) to com.traction.form.equipment (singular) in the version 1.0.6, This means you have to uninstall version 1.0.5 (or older) of this plugin first and install version 1.0.6. (if you have already installed this plugin 1.0.5 or older)



Install



Log in to TeamPage as a server administrator, open Server Settings > Plugins page.

Choose the zip file you download from the link above, com.traction.equipment-Version.zip, and upload it.

You will see "I18N ERROR" like this. Don't worry. This error mean that the international resources (= English language files) are not load yet.

Open Server Settings > General > Manage Server page, and click "Restart TeamPage" to solve this I18N ERROR. (If in the cloud environment, you may need twice restarting) After restarting, you will see the "Equipment Management" in the installed plugins list.

How to show the configuration view



Click the "Configure" link to open the configuration view.

Post Space



Server admin(s) must select a space where the "equipment" entries should be posted.

Each entry title should be displayed with the format you specify in this configuration. You can use;



Note: Each keyword must end width a % character, though the % was not required in the version 1.0.5 or older.

Display "Equipment Spreadsheet" Link



If yes, the link to show the spreadsheet view will be displayed in the details section in the single view.

Field Label Text



Server admins can change the label text displayed in the form fields, such as Registration ID, Serial Number, Manufacturer Name, and Product Name. This means you can use this plug-in for various purposes.

Prefixes of Tags



Server admins can change the prefixes in the tag names used for Manufacturer, Product Name, Location and Category,

For example, the "MFR" prefix will be added to a tag for Manufacturer, but admins can replace the "MFR" with "Supplier".

If you select "Yes" in the "Show Spare Selector" setting, you can use the "Spare" status for your equipment.

The equipment entry will have the "Spare" tag and its status will be "Waiting (Spare)".

How to use



Create a new equipment entry



Click "New Equipment" in the sidebar.

Add Menu

Fill in the form and click "Save Equipment" to post it.

The following section settings defines a section which contains new equipment entries.



You'll get a section like this.



Spreadsheet View



Click "Show Spreadsheet" button.



You will get this view. Click the heading cell to sort and enter keyword to filter.



Alert



The equipment entries will be included in the digest and alert you that the due dates are coming.
