This plugin enhances the visual appeal of TeamPage dashboards — such as the Front Page or News Page — by displaying images attached to articles as thumbnails.
Compared to traditional text-heavy layouts, this makes it easier for users to intuitively grasp the content and quickly locate articles of interest.
What Is "Rich" Volume?
TeamPage offers several existing section volume settings, such as “Title Only” and “Feed.” The Rich Volume plugin introduces a new display format designed to go beyond these standard options.
Previously, even when selecting “First Paragraph” or “Full Article,” embedded images were rarely shown in section views—resulting in dashboards that relied heavily on text. Rich Volume solves this issue by automatically extracting the first image in the article body and displaying it as a thumbnail, creating a more engaging and information-rich dashboard.
Key Features
Automatic Thumbnail Extraction
When an image is attached within the article body, the first one is automatically pulled and shown as a thumbnail in the dashboard section.
Optimized and Trimmed Text Content
Articles without thumbnails, or whose content appears alongside thumbnails, are automatically truncated with “...” beyond a specified number of lines. This keeps the layout clean and improves readability. If the article begins with a summary or conclusion, combining that with a thumbnail makes the article even easier to understand at a glance.
Customizable Size Options
Each article box can adapt to section widths such as 200px, 300px, or 400px, displaying optimally based on the specified size.
