Title: Dashboard 4 Sections Support plug-in

This plug-in adds the support for the "Small" width section setting that will allow the Dashboard view display max to 4 sections in a row.

In the old Mexico and Ocean skins, it was supported to display max to 4 sections horizontally in a row in the Dashboard view but it has not been supported in Proteus for a long time. If you select the "Small" option in the section setting, the Proteus Dashboard view displays max to 2 sections in a row. In other words, there had been no difference between the "Small" and the "Medium" options.

If you would like to put more than 2 sections in a row in your Dashboard view, this plug-in is worth to try.

Install

Click the link below to download the zip file of this plug-in.

Upload the zip file in Server Settings > Plugins page.

After uploading, you will see the following I18N ERROR. Don't worry. This error means "you need to restart TeamPage server to load the I18N resources (language files)."

I18N Error

Click [Restart TeamPage] in Server Settings > General > Manage Server page. If your TeamPage server is hosted in Traction's cloud environment, you will need to restart your server twice to load the I18N resources correctly.

After restarting, you will see that the plugin's name "Dashboard 4 Sections Support" shows up correctly.

Example Usages

4 sections (4 columns)

In the example below, I select the "Small" option in the Width drop-down list for the Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook sections.

The "Small" option means that "the width of the section will be 25% if there are 4 sections in the row." Here is the result.

3 sections (3 columns)

Now, I set the width of the 4th section "Outlook" to "Medium".

The width of the 3 sections, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is "Small" which means "25%". That of the 4th section is "Medium" which means "50%".

These all 4 sections can not be in one row because amount of the section widths is more than 100%.

So, the 4th section "drops down" to the following row with the 50% width. Please see the picture below.

Note that the width of the 3 sections is 33%.

Narrow Window

When I narrow the width of the browser window, the width of the "Small" sections gets to be 50%, the last one of the 3 sections is "pushed down" to the following row, and its width gets to be 100% because it doesn't share the row with any other section.

When I narrow the width of the browser window more, the width of each section gets to be 100%. Now, there is 1 section per row.
