Title: Max to 4 Entry Sections in 1 Row plug-in

Putting entry sections into a table has been commonly used to allocate entry-sections in the entry's body. But you may have to set width and vertical-align styles additionally for every cell in the table. Sometimes it gets a little pain.

This plug-in shows specific entry-sections in one row (one line) with proper widths and top-vertical-alignment. Therefore, all you should do is choosing entry-sections to show. Max to 4 entry-sections is supported.

Note: From the version 1.0.5, you can set a column that contains no section entry not to show up. This means the widths of the other visible columns get wider and fulfill the place for the invisible column. Please read the explanation below.

Choose the .zip file downloaded from the link above in Server Setup > Plugins.

You will be requested to restart your TeamPage server.

How to use

You have to create multiple entry-sections before putting the widget.

After creating entry-sections, click the Insert/Edit widget icon or "More" in the rich text editor.

Select "Max to 4 Entry Sections in 1 Row" widget.

In the configuration view, select a section in each drow-down-list. The 1st and 2nd ones are required. The 3rd and 4th are optional.

Click OK and confirm that you inserted the widget in the entry body.

After posting the entry, you will see that the widget shows the entry-sections with the proper width. If you select 4 entry-sections, the width of each section should be 25%, and if you select 3 entry-sections, the width should be 33%.

How to hide a column

If you want to make an empty column (an empty section) hidden and the invisible space be fulfilled by the other columns, please select the "Only If Section Has Content" option in the "Show Section Title" setting.

For example, here is an entry that has 4 columns. The 2nd section still shows up even though it has no entry.

Fig 1

This is because the display setting of its section title is set to "Always".

If you change the selection to "Only If Section Has Content", the section title disappears and the column disappears as well.

Now, the 2nd column disappears and the width of the other columns is set to 33%.
