(NYSE:APD) today reported net income of $141 million, or diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $.63 for its third fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2002. Net income was up seven percent and diluted EPS was up five percent compared with prior year results of $132 million and $.60 per share.
