Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug which prevented changes to journal settings -- e.g., front page sections, tabs displayed in the "All Spaces" Proteus interface, and many others including most default space and user settings -- from taking effect without restarting TeamPage if the server's caches had ever been cleared during the current run. Even though changes to the journal properties were correctly persisted in the appropriate backing store, the values of those settings in memory as used by the running TeamPage server process would be "stuck" on the values they last had before the server's caches were first cleared. (JPBO2223)

• Fixed a regression in TeamPage 6.0 that could prevent NTLM authentication from working correctly due to the failure to correctly set the necessary HTTP headers. (249410de804e)

• Fixed a bug which prevented the "or Cancel and Shut Down" link/button from working on the initial Journal Setup page which is displayed after a license has been successfully installed when running TeamPage for the first time. (JPBO2844)

• Fixed an annoying but minor bug related to adding RSS/Atom feeds in the feed manager. Previously, when the feed manager page reloaded after a new feed was added to the list of subscribed feeds, the newly added feed would not be selected. This fix ensures that the newly added feed is now correctly selected, making it easy to modify the properties for that feed subscription. (Server72464)

• Fixed a bug that could cause various problems (usually minor cosmetic problems only) handling results from certain types of database queries. Users may have noticed this bug manifested in the form of a dangling comma at the end of the list of users who have viewed a particular article, as displayed in the side column of single entry views. See also the developers note below. (Server71905 / Proteus10908)

• Fixed an issue that caused the wrong font face to be used in the classic PDF export feature. (Server72258)

• Fixed a bug which could cause forms launched from the "Add" button for a section to have the wrong caption -- usually, e.g., "Edit Task" instead of "New Task." (Proteus10832)

• Fixed a bug in WordML export which caused the < (less than) character to appear as the & (ampersand) character in the generated WordML document. Note that the WordML export feature has been deprecated and will likely be retired in a future release. (AKJ18798)

• Fixed a minor bug with the Print Version skin which prevented changes to the volume selector (e.g., "Full" or "Feed') from having any effect when viewing the Print Version for an individual dashboard section. (Server59718)

• Fixed some style/layout issues with the Navlinks for Proteus plug-in. (Proteus10868)

Improvements

• In the English locale, Proteus "Admin" menu has been relabeled as "Setup" which we hope will be better in keeping with the rest of the terminology in TeamPage. (Server72058)

• Phone numbers and instant message identifiers appearing in the user profile details block that is displayed at the top of most User Profile pages are now links which should launch the preferred telelphony, chat or other application to initiate a phone call, chat conversation, or other session. If a user has specified a Twitter handle, it will now be displayed as a link to their Twitter profile. (Proteus8855)

• When editing a comment which appears in context as a comment in the current page, the comment is now updated in place. Previously, after a successful update to such a comment, a user would be navigated to a single entry view centered on that comment, which is not very useful and almost never preferred. (Proteus10694)

• Inviting someone to TeamPage now automatically subscribes them to receive notifications for all the spaces to which they have been invited. This includes existing user accounts. This feature can be disabled on a space by space basis by changing the value of the "Automatically Subscribe Users to This Space" space setting to "no", or for all spaces (by default) by changing the server default value for that setting to "no"; but we feel this will be a useful improvement for those customers who are making use of the Invitations features introduced in TeamPage 5.2.51. (Server72438)

For Developers

Fixed a bug that prevented the loop.last boolean tag from ever evaluating as true inside of the db.query tag. We found that the java.sql.ResultSet::isLastResult method in the JavaDB (Apache Derby) package does not behave reliably. The fix for this issue was simply to avoid using that method. (Server71905 / Proteus10908)

• Added an SDL <if> tag, which is equivalent to <or>. (d9cf4ffee25b)
