Features Changes and Improvements
The following changes were made to improve the deliverability of email messages sent from TeamPage servers.
• When sending email from TeamPage via Email Articles or Email Reply, the
Reply-to address is set to the sending person's preferred email address, and the From address is set to the TeamPage server's outgoing email address. Previously, the Reply-to address was not set, and the From address was the sending person's preferred email address.• The Test SMTP button in Server Setup now uses the server's outgoing email address as the From address.
• The friendly name associated with the
From address for all the above messages reflects the display name of the person sending the message vi the name configured for the TeamPage server, e.Background: Many SMTP servers are configured only to allow email sent from a specific domain. However, many TeamPage servers allow messages to be sent by people whose preferred email addresses do not match the server's domain. This causes email message delivery to be refused. The changes in this release work around those mail server limitations.
