This article describes what's new in Traction® TeamPage 5.2.56. This release is a patch release to address some minor issues, some of which are related to the support for Events on the calendar introduced in TeamPage 5.2.55.
• TeamPage will now function properly in Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 7 and 8 on Windows when Google Chrome Frame is installed. Some users had reported being unable to use TeamPage at all in Internet Explorer 8, and at least in all the cases we have investigated, the cause was an incompatibility with Google Chrome Frame. This issue pre-dated version 5.2.55. (Proteus9878)
Setup and Administration
• Fixed an issue with the Project Team space template that prevented all the most current definitions of the dashboard sections from being displayed when viewing the template in the space template editor. (Server64561)
SDK & SDL
• Fixed a bug that could cause auxiliary queries, made separate from the "main" query for a given page, to improperly use the "last result" identifier, intended to indicate where the next set of results should pick up where the last set of results left off for the main query. It is not clear whether this bug ever actually caused a problem, but it could cause a problem in theory, such as incorrect results being reported for the auxiliary query. (Server64729)
• Fixed a bug that could cause an invalid "last result" identifier (again, intended to indicate where the next set of results should pick up where the last set of results left off) to cause a request to fail, potentially preventing the page from displaying properly and causing the user to see an error. Events on the Calendar
The following issues would only have been seen in version 5.2.55, the first official release to have support for events on the calendar.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the From address from being set on the email message TeamPage creates to send a notification of an event being deleted. (Server64703)
• Fixed a bug that caused ICS (calendar syndication) data downloaded for an event to report the event as canceled and prevent it from appearing on the calendar. (Proteus9854)
• Fixed a bug that prevented events created using the "schedule" option on the hover menu for an entire entry from being displayed on expanded feed renderings of the target entry, including when the event was first created. (Proteus9855)
Other Changes
• The Project Team space template now uses "Event" as the Article Class for its Meetings dashboard section. This will make the Add button for that section open the form to create new event entries rather than ordinary articles. (Server64558)
• For the sake of clarity, the checkbox labels "Use dashboard sections (instead of defaults)" and "Use groups & ACLs (instead of defaults)" on the Add Space forms were changed to "Copy dashboard sections from source template or space instead of using server default sections" and "Copy groups and permissions from source template or space instead of using server default groups and permissions", respectively. i18n / l10n
• In the notification email message for an event being deleted, the subject and heading (in the body of the message) have been internationalized. (Server64722 / AKJ17643)
• The Japanese localization has been updated, particularly with changes for the updates to the Project Team space template. (AKJ17603)
