Features Changes and Improvements



• Project and Milestone Dashboards — We added dashboard views for projects and milestones that show tasks, recent activity, related articles, and documents.



• Improved the Activity Feed view and added an Activity Feed for Projects and Milestones — We overhauled the presentation of the activity feed to make it easier to scan and understand what changed, and added an Activity Feed view for each project and milestone.



The activity feed for projects and milestones includes activity on related tasks and articles, to give you a clear and comprehensive picture of what's happening on the project or milestone.

• Added support for Internet Explorer 9 to the Proteus skin.

• Added support for emailing in entries of any type, including status updates and tasks with assignees. See Doc86: Sending Email to TeamPage for details.

• Replaced the Activity > All tab with Activity > Changes tab that shows filterable metadata changes.

• The last article type filter settings you used on the Activity > Feed, Activity > Posts and Activity > All tabs are now remembered and used next time you return to that tab.



• We added feedback to the date box on tasks, to make it clear when a task inherits a date from a milestone. You can click the date icon to make the date independent of the milestone, and click it again to re-attach it to the milestone's date.



• Added support for /traction/space/name and /traction/project/name URLs to Proteus. (Proteus7563)

• Updated the default space templates to use new PM and feed features.

• Changed the default user profile sections to show the Activity tab first and hide the dashboard.

• Replaced the term Newspage with Dashboard throughout all skins and administrative interfaces.

• Space administrators must now explicitly have Access Address Book permission to be able to access detailed user information. (AKJ13085)

• Improved notification email formatting.

• People who chose to be alerted about comments on articles they authored are now also alerted when tasks are created on articles they authored.

• Improved the breadcrumb feedback and navigation on tasks and milestones.



• The email digest now shows you tasks overdue and due today at the top, and a 5-day overview of upcoming tasks, milestones, and projects.



• Expanded feed records now show the entry affected, not the metadata change record.

• Added sparkline graphs showing project and milestone activity over time and tasks due over time.



• Refined the selection of milestones to display on the Profile > Calendar. Now only milestones associated with tasks and projects that you're involved with are displayed on your calendar.

• Improved display of milestones and goals in the chooser inside the task form.



• Improved the search skin's handling of inline sections and profile articles.

• Improved wrapping behavior of section title dashboard tabs.

i18n



• All locales now use "to do" and "done"

• Renamed the discussion tab to comments.

Plug-Ins



• All standard plug-ins have been recompiled and are posted in the 5.2 plugins download folder.

• All custom-developed plug-ins have been recompiled and the latest versions placed in each customer's Documents folder.
