This Ratings Plug-in works in the Mexico interface which still ships with TeamPage, but is not the default since the Year 2010 release of the Proteus interface with our TeamPage 5.0 baseline. The plug-in has not been updated for the Proteus interface as we are considering whether there is a better model for rating vs the "Like / Thumbs Up" and "5 Star" rating system we implemented for this plug-in (and is generally a common approach).
Customers have asked for a way to rate and vote on entries in their TeamPage server. We've created a plugin that will allow you to do this quickly and easily, using familiar interfaces that web users should find intuitive.
The ratings plugin provides controls for two types of behaviors:
Star rating on a scale from 1 to 5
Vote To Promote scoring, similar to the controls used on sites like Digg
You can choose a rating style, text labels and decide which views which will shown rating buttons for individual projects - or choose rating defaults for all projects on your TeamPage server. The video demonstration below gives you a high level overview of how this will look in your Traction site, and show you how to configure it.

Installation
The ratings system requires one plugin-in: com.traction.ratings.zip. Be sure to get the one that matches the version of TeamPage you are running.
Once you've installed the plugin, you may go to Server Setup > Plugins and click the configure link next to the ratings plugin to set up server defaults for ratings, and then change settings to choose a specific rating style and decide where ratings should be shown for individual projects.
