An increasing number of browsers support HTML rich text editing, also
called WYSIWYG editing ("What You See Is What You Get"). Normally
rich text editing is enabled by default for new articles, comments, email
replies, and the cover letters that go with emailed articles.
This setting allows users to deactivate rich text editing.
When rich text edit mode has been deactivated, all the rich text controls
for formatting text, inserting images and links, etc., are not displayed.
Instead,
the user has access to the raw article content.
