Title: The WebDAV Standard

Traction TeamPage has provided file sharing and management that is in compliance with the WebDAV standard since version 3.5.

From www.webdav.org: WebDAV stands for "Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning". It is a set of extensions to the HTTP protocol which allows users to collaboratively edit and manage files on remote web servers.

WebDAV is a widely supported open standard. This means some level of support has also been added directly into various operating systems and browsers. Whenever possible, Traction leverages this support as part of the overall file sharing and management capabilities provided.

The abbreviations "WebDAV" and "DAV" are interchangeable.
