If files are uploaded without an explicit MIME type being specified by the web browser, Traction will try to determine the MIME type of the file based on its extension, if one is present. The mime.types file controls the extensions Traction knows about. You can see the contents by clicking the View button. You can also use the Document Management Interface (DMI) to upload a modified version of the file with added or changed definitions.
